Bay State Veterinary Emergency Services

BSVES Payment Policies

Payment Policies of Bay State Veterinary Emergency Services

As an emergency and specialty center, the costs associated with our care may be higher than what you are accustomed to at your pet’s regular veterinary office. This is due to the greater overhead involved in running a 24-hour hospital.

Outpatient Specialty and Emergency Appointments

Full payment is due at the time services are rendered.

Pets Requiring Hospitalization

Payment Policies of Bay State Veterinary Emergency Services

Our veterinarians will complete an initial assessment of your pet’s condition when you bring him or her to BSVES, and we will recommend a treatment and diagnostic course of action. You will be provided with an estimated range of costs for this plan. If you approve the course of action, you will be required to leave 100% of the low end of the estimate as your deposit. At the end of hospitalization, the balance will be due. We will make every effort to keep you apprised of any additional charges being incurred that would exceed the estimated balance.

Accepted Methods of Payment

BSVES accepts:

  • Cash
  • Checks—processed electronically and returned to you as a receipt (valid driver’s license required)
